This application is intended to be installed on a mobile phone placed in the Invention Studio. After the initial setup, it will count the number of people leveraging computer vision with Amazon Rekognition without any interaction, and then it will store the data into a database and graph it onto the UI (User Interface).

This is a camera application that keeps detecting hands (bouding boxes) in the framse seen by your device's back camera with a model trained on the COCO dataset and one model trained on the specific dataset trained in GT Invention Studio bandsaws. The purpose of this app is to turn on the phone flash and warn users of improper use of the bandsaw. Inspired by the Tensorflow sample application, this provides real-time updates for safe usage.
